The Savage Gear Squish Erratic Fall Jig is a center balanced flat fall style jig designed to be fished vertically for bottom dwelling and pelagic species. The design of this jig creates an erratic side to side action while falling through the water column. To achieve the proper tantalizing action, rapidly lift the rod tip and allow the jig to fall on slack line, then immediately lift again once the jig has stopped falling. The falling action of the Squish Jig keeps the lure in the strike zone longer, allowing the target species to have more time to react. The Squish Jig gets its name from its unique color pattern which mimics a baitfish on one side, and a squid on the other.
